Contra los poetas

Contra los poetas. Luis E. López-Chávez

The exhibition is presented as an essay, an approach to a certain topic and a desire for style to express it. The set of works are born, in part, from impressions on the "ideas of form" of the writer Witold Gombrowicz. The innate need to develop the always unfinished form is what Gombrowicz calls "the imperative of the form"

Each initiated form requires a complement, and in this activity, voluntary or involuntary, the work process is generated. In these terms, a work is the work process that it can generate. Thus "White noise" has been a master piece, from which the bulk of the exhibition has emerged. His work process generated a movement of ideas, forms, and an autonomous decantation of them, leaving many unfinished and demanding their own development. This operation is not always constructive, sometimes what prevails is the degradation of the form.

What is important is the development of the form, its construction or undermining.
