Jardín Vertical. Angel R. Ricardo Ríos

The vigorous expression of the pictorial gesture once again surprises in the work of Ricardo Ríos. In this show, he maintains the reference to natural elements, to the floral, organic motif, this time re-emerging with a differentiated formal treatment that differs from the variegated and baroque compositions of his previous work. The exhibition allows us to confront other trials of color, form, the liberated and spontaneous gesture (signs of a new manifestation of emotion), a process in which the artist has been immersed in recent years. The visual result of the set bets on dynamism, sensuality, expanded forms that illusively exceed the limits of the canvases, all generating a need to witness the artist in full creative action.
