Adrian Fernandez is interested in the search for identity, beyond stereotypes or schemes related to these processes. He focuses on the material universe that surround contemporary men and women, such as objects, houses, which define their tastes, ideologies, classes and social levels, or their appearance thereof. By penetrating the personal space of the individual that owns and enjoys them, he creates a dialogue with the culture whether inherited or assimilated, that modulates the identity of the human being in each context. Fragmentation and reality-appearance duality, are some elements that can be founded in his photographic work and installations.
