Niels Reyes
In his work, Niels Reyes addresses the human condition, where the anxiety that inhabits our culture is showed. He is interested in gesture, ephemeral, which at the same time, builds what is permanent, what remains unchanged in human been. His paintings show that freshness, that sensation in which the most fleeting details are captured. What is represented in his work is frequently connected to his life experience. He also finds his referents in the street, pictures, and films or even in his own imagination.
