José Miguel Costa’s work is characterized by a constant experimentation that develops between different expressions and techniques such as painting, drawing, sculpture and photography. At the same time, his work become coherent and organic, which is evidenced in a very define style that has as a main premise the simplification of an idea or message. He is interested in presenting reflections about man and the relation to his environment, individual or collective. That synthesis is expressed from both fields, conceptual and formal.
